It was such a pleasure to take part in this styled wedding shoot at The Olana near Dallas, Texas. So many wonderful vendors contributed thoughtful, beautiful pieces to create something more than the sum of it’s parts. An exquisite shoot like this really showcases the heights you can reach with an Olana wedding! Designed with inspiration drawn from Parisian chateaus, The Olana wedding venue in Hickory Creek, Texas, is one of the most beautiful places to get married in the whole state. 40 acres of lush grounds give you perfect privacy, while the European mansion has all the best of historic splendor and modern luxury combined.
An Olana wedding is going to feel luxurious and elegant by virtue of the venue alone, but the details of each individual event can elevate the atmosphere even higher. That’s what the amazing Flower Shack Blooms did for this wedding shoot. They leaned into the romance of the location and the occasion with joyful pink roses and pastel tones, creating these stunning double arches for the bride and groom.
The table bouquets, in dramatic gold urns, brought the kind of unique gravitas that this venue deserves. The gold tableware and rose-tinted glassware completed the romantic, elegant look. Custom invitations by Korynne & Co used the striking silhouette of The Olanna wedding venue as the basis for their design, which worked so well to set the tone of the day.
If romantic elegance is what you’re looking for, you’ll love a glimpse at Stephen and Jackie’s wedding day. Or, for inspiration from a totally different type of venue, check out this shoot at Sparrow Lane.
