Elizabeth and Seth knew what they wanted for their wedding day at Foundry 324, which was something classy, timeless, and full of love. Surrounded by family and close friends, this celebration of a new beginning achieved every one of those goals. It was my pleasure to capture their wedding day at Foundry 324 and elsewhere for them to look back on for years to come.
Elizabeth and Seth’s wedding took place at First Christian Church in Sedalia, Missouri. Not wanting to miss a moment, we took a series of getting-ready shots as they prepared for the ceremony. There was such a mix of emotions in these moments too: friends and family helping the bride and groom get ready, the first look session, some intimate moments together, and more.
The wedding was small but equally as joyful as everything that had come before. There were more moments worth capturing here too. The ones I’m most fond of are when Elizabeth and Seth smiled. Their love for one another and general good nature was infectious, and they simply couldn’t hold it in as their moment to tie the knot grew closer.
Those same smiles never seemed to leave their faces after that either. Not as they held each other, not as they left the church, and not as they were surrounded by friends and family outside. All of them were blowing bubbles as Elizabeth and Seth walked out, which made for a fun moment too. There were more photos to take, but eventually it was time to head back to Foundry 324. While at Foundry 324, I took some bridal portraits of Elizabeth and then some romantic photos of Elizabeth and Seth together. Those smiles didn’t stay away for long then either. When it was time for the reception at Foundry 324, everyone had a wonderful time. The dinner tables were set just as the couple wanted. Simple and relaxed, yet elegant, with minimalistic decor and just the right amount of gold accents.
As the night deepened, the dancing started. Elizabeth and Seth shared father-daughter and son-mother dances beneath the warm glow of the string lights. And, of course, the newlywed couple finally did their first dance together. When the reception at Foundry 324 ended, the night was still too young for Elizabeth and Seth. Elizabeth changed into something more casual. It was time to party like they wanted.
Just outside of Foundry 324 was a food truck. They shared some corn dogs while dancing in the parking lot and on the sidewalk. I was glad to have been able to capture these moments too because it proved that they were both always just being themselves, whether that was in front of friends and family or while alone. They were and are a classy couple who just can’t help but share their inner joy with others.
My inner joy was capturing theirs, whether that was at Foundry 324 or elsewhere during their wedding day. I’d love to help you capture your real selves during your wedding day also. If you’re interested, click my contact button and let me know what I can do for you.
